USA trained Fashion designer and blogger opens XLenTê shoppe in Victoria Island, Lagos

XLenTê Shoppe, an African Fashion Retail concept has opened shop in highbrow Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. The outlet is stocked with Ready-To-Wear collections and fashion products and is located at the famous Chase Mall, 19 Adetokunbo Ademola St., Victoria Island, Lagos State.

Xlenté shoppe retails fashion products ranging from kids wear to men, women wears and fashions accessories (hats, belts, shoes, sandals, jewelries). It also features in-store alterations, styling, fashion consultations etc. Products in the shoppe are selected from designers that have scaled up to cater for a wider range of clientele. The shoppe also serves as an avenue for shoppers outside Lagos, Nigeria and beyond to purchase these much loved Afrocentric high quality fashion products.

The opening of XLenTê comes at a time when a lot of Nigerian/African designers are perfecting their trades and seeking for outlets to sell to their teeming clients, without incurring huge overheads. XLenTê takes the burden of the overheads in the highbrow Victoria Island, while giving designers an ‘extension Sales Department’.

XLenTê shoppe is managed by Ms. Estella Ogbonna, a US-based Fashion designer with a passion for fashion, especially Nigerian Fashion. She has won so many awards for her use of Nigerian fabrics to create unique styles in North America and beyond. Ms, Estella is also a humanitarian, fashion stylist, consultant and fashion writer. Though she still operates business in USA, in addition to XLenTê, she is in production of a TV series on Fashion in Africa, while holding the position of the Fashion Editor of the luxury MONALISA Magazine. She also recently featured in the all-new column; ‘Diaspora Rhapsody’ on Trendy Africa Magazine.

The shoppe will sell products from very successful fashion designers as well as emerging designers based in Nigeria, USA, UK and other parts of Africa. Designers in the shoppe are Zizi Cardow, Grace’s Hat, OSC, Lui Clothing, Asake Oge, Atunnise Clothiers, Idong Harrie, Reni Smith, Estella Couture, JeanKara, Justus Edmonds, Kola Kuddus, Purest Angels, Tosed Creations, Ms. Supremes, BuChi,  House Of Jola, Yagee Bridals, Gravido and Jovan Dayles.

A Grande Launch with Runway showcase and features of the Xlente Shoppe designers is slated forMarch 19th, 2016. XLenTê shoppe will be open six days a week (Monday – Saturday, 9am – 7pm) and provides customers with the opportunity to schedule private appointments.
