Trendy Africa Partners with TSUP to support Education in Nigeria

Lagos, Nigeria – As part of its corporate objective at rendering community services, Trendy Africa Media recently partnered with The Street University Project (TSUP) in Nigeria towards supporting youth empowerment and motivation in Africa.

 

TSUP is a restructuring program for youths from the slums or challenging backgrounds that usually do not have mentors to look up to growing up out of such areas. The founder and initiator of TSUP Ms Helen Sosu explained that youths in the program are tutored through the street light stages – Red, Yellow and Green – which includes workshops, skills acquisition and entrepreneurial development.

 

An avid writer with a degree in English from the University of Lagos, Ms Sosu is also the MD of Peoples and Events LTD, an events services company.

                

To this effect, Trendy Africa’s Executive Editor; Chibuzor Okonta travelled to Lagos to participate in a recently organized workshop by rendering a FREE three hour lecture series on Photography to the very interested participants. Mr. Okonta who resides in the USA recently bagged honors in communication and information technology.

Trendy Africa Media is also set to commence other community based events one of which includes a periodic lecture series designed to assist college students with their tuition, intellectually motivate and empower future leaders of tomorrow.
