Dallas – The recognition by Fair Park, the participation of more than 85 performing arts groups, the partnership of around 50 media organizations and attendance by 16,000 persons was a great testimonial to the success of the recently held Dallas International festival organized by the DFW Alliance International. The Festival brought to light the important role International people play in North Texas.
The festival which held at the Centennial Building at Fair Park featured three stages of global dance and music, global cuisine pavilion, children’s discovery center and a parade of flags. An exclusive space was reserved for Trendy Africa as an international exhibitor. A few Small Business Owners in Dallas namely; Ankara Rebel, Zoya’s Jewels and Tee’s Designs joined Trendy Africa to exhibit quality products with African theme’s.
DFW International Community Alliance is the portal to international North Texas, a region in which 44% of the residents are New Americans. It’s a network of over 1,600 internationally-focused organizations in the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex that embodies the cultural and economic vibrancy of the global community. Their Mission is to build mutual understanding and respect by linking diverse international cultural communities.
