Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood’ makes its European Premiere
Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time … in
Hollywood” has given the director the best opening weekend of his career,
earning $40.4 million in U.S. and Canada, according to studio estimates
Tarantino’s ninth movie, which just premiered in Europe
centers on the friendship between TV actor, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, and
his longtime stunt double, Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) and features portrayals of
many real-life figures, most notably actress Sharon Tate, who is played by
Margot Robbie.
A wistful fairy tale, which features a large ensemble cast
and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden
age, the film is out in theaters.
