Ahead of the formal inauguration of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library; the first of its kind in Africa, the Programme Assistant of the Youth Development center, Oluwagbemiro Edwin was at the World Affairs Council in Dallas where he made a presentation titled; Preserving the Past, Capturing the Present and Inspiring the Future. His visit came on the heels of an earlier fact finding visit to the OBJ presidential library Nigeria by the City of Dallas African Liasion Officer, Regina Onyeibe and Ms Berth of the World Affairs Council.
Mr. Edwin’s visit afforded him the opportunity to converse with young entrepreneurs and youth leaders while shedding more light on the Youth Development Centers initiative. He emphasized that the overall objective of the Youth Development Center is to create a conducive environment for the development of young Africans in a manner that nurtures and assists in projecting good qualities and traits that produce positive influence on the continent and the world in general.
