The Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, H.E Chief (Dr.) Godswill Akpabio and H.E Mrs. Ekaette Unoma Akpabio were honored at the recently held town hall meeting organized by the Akwa Ibom Diaspora Network in Texas. Members of AIDN lauded the Governor for the visible and extraordinary infrastructural transformation of the State and described it as worthy of commendation and emulation. Special guest at the gala event and USA Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee commended the Executive Governor for the uncommon transformation of his state and described him as a model leader for others to follow.
The Akwa Ibom Diaspora Network – AIDN is an international community where people of Akwa Ibom State effectively develop and harness their resources for sustainable development of Akwa Ibom State and the advancement of the people of the state. AIDN seeks to provide a global and multi faceted network platform for Akwa Ibom citizens so that they can collaborate through investment,economics, politics and other public policy initiatives that add value to Akwa Ibom State.
