Africa’s finest 2Face Idibia does recognize talent when he sees it. So barely two months after he gave his blessing to have Hypertek Records signee Dammy Krane feature on EFA’s Open & Close, he has jumpstarted a series of dance routines for the song which is fast becoming a fans’ favorite.
The Jus’ Kiddin’ camera caught up with 2Face just before a Lagos performance last week and he was gracious enough to spare a few minutes to do his interpretation of the Open & Close dance.
In what has been playfully tagged EFA Season by Platonique PR, here’s a sneak peek of what’s to come in the coming weeks. A full celebrity Open & Close dance video is expected to drop in a few days before the video proper is unveiled. EFA’s video for over featuring Praiz is also in the works. All will be directed by Mr. Mish.
With a debut album due out later in 2013, EFA released remixes from the summer of 2010 and an internet single EFA on 11-1-11 to introduce himself to the Nigerian market with a view to taking on the world in the next few years. In late 2011, his The Waka EP with producer Bigfoot was released to the public with rave reviews. EFA’s last outing in recent times was on MI’s Illegal Music II mixtape where he featured on the track Star.
EFA’s first radio single, Open & Close featuring Dammy Krane, is on all radio stations across the country and on blogs promoting Nigerian music.
