Los Angeles – Michael Jackson became American Music Award’s biggest posthumous winner after snagging four accolades last night.
Jackson who co-hosted the first ever AMA’s was named favorite male soul/R&B artist whilst his 2003 greatest-hits album, “Number Ones” won best soul/R&B and pop/rock album and favorite pop/rock male.

Two of Jackson’s trophies were accepted by brother Jermaine, who paid tribute to his late brother by wearing a white glittery glove.
Held at the famous Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, elaborate and energetic performances were put on by the Black Eyed Peas, Mary J. Blige, Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Rihanna and Whitney Houston who also received the International Award of Excellence in recognition of her worldwide success, a relatively new accolade which was previously won by Jackson.
