The 60th birthday celebration in honor of Sunny Osa Adun, President/Chief Executive Officer of DBN Television, had the trappings of class, style and success. The celebrant founded Degue Broadcasting Network, DBN, in the United States of America in 1984, and incorporated it in Nigeria in 1986. The event featured an elite list of guests including celebrities. The CEO of DBN also used the event to recognize past and present staff of the establishment. Mr Adun holds the credit of being the first Nigerian to establish and own the first privately owned television station in the country.
