Raven-Symoné talks growing up in the spotlight

Former “Cosby Show” actress Raven-Symoné is one of several celebrities featured in an upcoming documentary called “Child Star.” The 38-year-old actress was just 3-years old when she joined “The Cosby Show” cast in the mid-80s and she has appeared in several successful television series such as “Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper and also starred in the highly successful Disney Channel series “That’s So Raven.”

Directed by Demi Lovato and Nicola Marsh, “Child Star,” explores the highs and lows of growing up in the spotlight.

In the Hulu documentary, Lovato sits down with Raven-Symoné and some other iconic former child stars such as Drew Barrymore, Kenan Thompson, Christina Ricci, JoJo Siwa, Alyson Stoner to reflect on their personal experiences working in the entertainment industry.

Through celebrity interviews and archival footage, this film which airs on Hulu, deconstructs the stages of earlier stardom and looks at the entertainment system over the last century as well as the next generation of child actors.
