WASHINGTON, DC – The recently appointed Nigerian Ambassador to the United States of America Prof. Ade Adefuye has presented his official credentials to President Barack Obama at the White house. A reception in his honor was later held at the Nigerian Chancery in Washington DC.
Prof. Adefuye was previously the Nigerian Ambassador to Jamaica, deputy high commissioner in the UK and director of the Africa section in the commonwealth secretariat in London. His most recent engagement was as adviser on democracy and good governance to the President of the ECOWAS commission in Abuja, Nigeria.
