It was not the usual kind of celebration she planned but in all things, Princess Helen Famuwagun was thankful to her creator for giving her the grace to mark her 60th birthday in company of close family and friends at her modest home in Grand Prairie, Texas.
The event was strictly covid code compliant with guests getting their temperatures checked and sanitizers applied. Face coverings and distancing took center stage until the steam from the hot and sizzling Nigerian cuisine permeated the living room. Guests enjoyed local delicacies such as Amala, designer stew and jollof rice among other item 7 condiments.
It was clear from the tributes to the celebrant during the event that Princess Helen has always been a selfless sister and friend to many and was also mentioned as being kind to a fault. Some of her close acquaintances who were not able to attend in person had the opportunity to experience the celebration virtually via zoom.
