Nigerian Nurses Celebrate 50th Independence in New York

New York – Members of the Nigerian Nurses Association of USA, Inc turned out in large numbers to celebrate the 50th Independence of Nigeria at a gala and fundraising event in New York City. The President of NNAUSA; Taiwo Adeniji in an opening remark explained that NNAUSA is an association of professional registered nurses of Nigerian descent living and working in the United States.

Taiwo Adeniji (RN-BC, MSN, ANP) further mentioned that the association also conducts free mammogram services for uninsured Nigerian women who are 40 years and above in partnership with the American Cancer Society.

Other professional associations including the Eko Club International USA, Nigerian-American Community Association USA Inc and the MHHC foundation all joined the nurses to celebrate the 50th independence.
