I have had an existing relationship with NANNNA through the years and really thrilled about their phenomenal growth. With their renewed strategy and focus on thought leadership, NANNNA at its 9th annual conference has demonstrated its commitment to ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Conference attendees also benefit from Continuing Education Units provided by Axxess, an accredited provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation.
The welcome address at the gala and induction ceremony night was presented by the outgoing president, Benjamin Okpeseyi, MSN, PhD while the keynote speaker was Ena Williams, MSN, MBA, BSN, senior vice-president and chief nursing officer, Yale New Haven Hospital. They both acknowledged the commitment by all members and applauded their service to humanity.
The executive director of NANNNA, Dr. Grace Ogiehor-Enoma gave a brief overview of the organizations programs while NANNNA founder, Dr. Sandra Anyoha presented awards to recipients while expressing her gratitude to the leadership for growing the organization. The vote of thanks was delivered by Idorenyin Udosen, MSN, RN who also chaired the conference planning committee.
