Michelin to Fit Tires on 2012 Ferrari FF (4WD)

Michelin will fit its all new Super Sport series tires on the new 2012 Ferrari FF four-wheel drive car. The potential of the Michelin Pilot Super Sport, designed for highly demanding technological advances enabled the tire manufacturer to obtain 13 consecutive victories at the Le Mans 24 Hours. The resulting experience was transferred to the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tire for the benefit of the motorist looking for enhanced driving sensations. The tire sizes fitted to the Ferrari FF are 245/35 ZR 20 on the front and 295/45 ZR 20 on the rear.

Ferrari FF is the most powerful and versatile Ferrari ever built and designed by Pininfarina. It’s a revolutionary 12-cylinder four-seater vehicle with four-wheel drive that interprets a harmonious blend of sporting DNA and extraordinary usability. The FF features the company’s first ever four-wheel drive system. Ferrari’s exclusive, patented 4RM (four-wheel drive) weighs 50 per cent less than a conventional four-wheel drive system, maintaining perfect weight distribution (53 per cent over the rear axle).

Completely integrated with the car’s electronic dynamic control systems, the four-wheel drive technology delivers record levels of performance on all terrains and in all conditions via continuous and intelligent predictive torque distribution to all four wheels. The FF is also equipped with the latest magnetorheological damping system (SCM3), as well as the most recent development in carbon-ceramic brakes from Brembo.
