The new MG 550 1.8 compact sedan is designed by MG’s British team and comes with a newly-developed 1.8-litre 4-cylinder engine and a 5-speed automatic, MG 550, produces 118 horsepower and 215 lb/ft of torque, on a front-wheel-drive MCPherson Suspension, with Multi-link independent suspension and disc brakes on all four wheels The Standard and Comfort model get 16-inch alloys wheels, while the Deluxe models get 17’ Alloy Wheel, ventilated disc brakes, cruise control, stability control, and two front airbags. The MG 550 car can accelerate from 0-100 kph in 10.2 seconds with fuel economy of 1-100 km on 6.8 litres petrol.
