For this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh (Ephesians 5:31), and so it was for Osarobo Odeh who crossed the Atlantic on a 2,000 miles journey to be joined with his wife, Blessing Onaiwu.
The nuptial ceremony was a blend of authentic African culture and western tradition. The couple, clad in traditional ensemble participated at the traditional engagement and wedding ceremony at the brides family home in Frisco, Texas in the presence of a few close knit family and friends.
The brides father, Bishop Nosa Onaiwu of Arise and Shine International Ministries played the perfect host as he witnessed his first daughter being handed over to her prince charming.
The wedding day was a beehive of activities which commenced with a lovely wedding ceremony in the Arise And Shine ministries church sanctuary in Bedford Texas. Guests in attendance also witnesses the surprise presentation of a luxury SUV to the newly wed by Bishop Onaiwu.
The wedding party later converged at the North Richland Hills recreational center for a grand reception as all in attendance enjoyed a mix of continental Asian and African cuisine while enjoying all other entertaining aspects including dance choreography and great music.
