For many in attendance, it was puzzling to comprehend that the gentleman in the white tuxedo was actually celebrating his 60th birthday. Well, the youthful looking and quintessential seasoned administrator, Laja Akintayo deemed it fit to mark his 60th birthday in company of family and close friends at the re-purposed M&B lounge in Arlington, Texas. The black tie event featured prayers and praise worship, glowing tributes, performances by grandchildren, assorted cuisine and dance. It was surely an unforgettable evening for the celebrant and a merry one for all in attendance.
