Jackie Appiah voted Ghana’s most daring Actress on Trendy Polls

Dallas, TX –Jackie Appiah has emerged the winner of the fourth in the series of “Trendy Polls”, a Trendy Africa initiative designed to increase the interactive potentials of its ever growing viewers. The polls listed 5 actresses including Yvonne Nelson and Juliet Ibrahim. Jackie Appiah scored 82 votes out of a total of 190 to beat Yvonne Nelson; 59 votes, Juliet Ibrahim; 21 votes, Yvonne Okoro; 15 votes and Martha Ankomah; 13 votes.

Jackie Appiah was born in Canada and later relocated to Ghana to study acting. She has since won numerous awards including the prestigious Africa Movie Academy Awards. She has featured in movies such as End of sleep walker, Total love, The siege, Palace of Justice, Every girl and set apart.

Trendy Africa Media launched its Poll segment in 2005 with the ever popular “Trendy headgear Polls” which featured various head wrap styles and a constant flow of voters. The new Poll format is however an ultra modern upgrade managed by poll daddy.com and does not allow for repeat voters thus making it authentic.

“Trendy polls” is scheduled to run periodically with unique poll titles and would serve as a build up to the planned TEA Awards coming soon. Winners are featured on the website and are entitled to free profiles in Trendy Africa Magazine. The current Trendy poll features “Most Reported Event of 2011”.
