He’s one of the most recognizable actors in Hollywood known for his versatility on the big screen and according to his cast mates on “Fury”, Brad Pitt is ‘incredible to work with’. “At no point did he hold himself on a pedestal to separate himself from the rest of us and I respected him for that,” shares Bernthal who stars alongside the 50-year-old actor in the World War II drama that releases in theaters this Friday.

A film which highlights the misery of combat, “Fury” also stars Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman and Michael Peña. Directed by David Ayer (“End of Watch), who wrote “Training Day,” it follows an embittered tank commander named Wardaddy (played Brad Pitt) whose responsibility is keeping his men alive in the last days of the Second World War. Pitt also serves as executive producer on the film.

“The rougher it got, the bigger the smile on his face got. He enjoyed the fact that David in no way let him get away with anything and he was one of the guys. He craved that. Anytime the chips got down in booth camp and seeing him do his stuff kept me on top of my game. He is a lovely guy and a family man and I am glad to call him a friend.”
Bernthal was most recently seen in Martin Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street.”
