Farrah Fawcett dead at 62 just as MJ lies in Critical Condition

LOS ANGELES – Farrah Fawcett, the actress who rose to fame in 1976 on the TV series “Charlie’s Angels,” has died at 62. Fawcett had waged an almost three-year battle with cancer, which she was diagnosed with in September 2006. After recently checking in to the hospital, she died Thursday morning (June 25) in the intensive-care unit of St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California.

Michael Jackson was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Los Angeles on Thursday (June 25) after suffering cardiac arrest. The site reported that paramedics administered CPR in the ambulance after picking up the singer at his home in the Holmby Hills neighborhood.

Jackson was not breathing when paramedics arrived. Captain Steve Ruda told the paper that Jackson was not breathing when paramedics responded to a call at Jackson’s home around 12:26 p.m. PT.
