Engineers have pushed the boundaries of what’s possible for Defender Dakar, with uprated geometry, enhanced suspension, off-road body adaptations, rally-inspired interior elements and distinctive colour options.

Five years after its return to the US market and more than 130,000 sales later, Defender’s momentum continues to build, driven by the success of Defender OCTA and the strength of its diverse, highly capable lineup.
Defender Rally made history on its competitive debut at the 2026 Dakar Rally, widely considered the world’s most extreme off-road race. After 14 days of gruelling competition, the three D7X-Rs finished in first, second and fourth places in the new Stock class, as well as achieving a ‘1,2,3’ result on 10 of the 13 demanding stages. Together they demonstrated unwavering durability across a combined total distance of 24,000km.
