Democrats win big in U.S. midterm elections

The 2026 U.S. Midterm Elections have delivered a significant political shift, with Democrats winning control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

The results include historic Democratic victories in traditionally Republican strongholds, flipping seven Senate seats, including Texas, Kansas, Iowa, Ohio, Maine, North Carolina and South Carolina.

James Talarico
