The scene was a colorful nuptial festival of culture and inclusion. It was a joyful fanfare of the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria meeting and mixing with the Igbo tribe, also from Nigeria. The Chike-Obi and Ogunleye families made this a reality. For Christianah Ogunleye and Chude Chike-Obi, it was a day that would form part of their everlasting memory, together.
The Sapphire Banquet hall and conference center had to be expanded to accommodate the record attendance of family, friends, an well wishers who travelled from distant locations, including Nigeria and Europe, to witness the traditional wedding.
