Kim Kardashian commissioned luxury automotive specialists, Urban Automotive and Platinum Motorsport to design and build a bespoke modified carbon fibre Range Rover to add to her collection. The brand-new, $306,000 Range Rover L460 is the first project created for the TV star and entrepreneur by Urban Automotive, and one of many vehicles now delivered as part of the company’s relationship with renowned Californian high end custom vehicle builders Platinum Motorsport Group.
The project saw the brand-new Range Rover taken back to bare metal for a full satin silver colour change at a cost of almost $20,000, with paintwork taken care of by Platinum Motorsport Group at the company’s home on Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles.
Kim’s exclusive carbon styling kit was designed and manufactured in the UK and assembled in California – with over 300 hours invested in the complete build process. Kim’s chosen customizations include full carbon fibre Widetrack bodykit, personalized ‘KK’ details, satin silver colour change and a set of 24’’ Forgiato alloy wheels.
