Even the perennial rainfall did not deter scores of guests who arrived from bubbly USA cities to participate in the highly anticipated 50th birthday celebration in honor of Gloria Funmi Adekunle Ayeni. Plans had been underway towards this shindig well before the 2020 pandemic but in keeping with existing protocol, the celebrant decided to push it out to 2021.
Friends and family from Chicago, Houston, DMV, among others all gave gratifying testimonies about the celebrant to the admiration of all in attendance. The La Soiree event center in Duncanville was literally filled to capacity with a mixture of great food, consistent cool vibes by DJ Olabode and a vibrant Mistress of Ceremony, Elegant Alaga.
