It was all planned out to occur in 2021 but pandemic uncertainties hit. Overwhelmingly described as ambitious, she set her eyes on 2022 and so it was. The birthday celebration commenced with a thanksgiving service at her Dallas home church that was characterized by great praise and worship. Temitope Otunuga was joined by her husband, Dele Otunuga and sons, Bamidele and Ayodeji.
Family and guests later gathered at the Park Plaza Tower event center in Dallas for a spectacular reception. The ambiance was befitting of the celebrant as she stepped out in a beautiful traditional ensemble for the first phase. The venue came alive with music and dancing supplied by a combination of a live band and DJ.
