It was all about culture and tradition in Dallas Texas at the traditional wedding between Dr. Nicole Oyindamola Akinseye and Dr. Shawn Okpara. Parents of the groom, Chief Okechukwu and Dr. Mrs. Okwudili Okpara of Houston Texas arrived Dallas with a powerful delegation while parents of the bride, Mr. Akindele and Mrs. Nkechi Akinseye were joined by close associates and college mates.
The very colorful and glamorous event attracted a mega crowd of family and well-wishers, some of whom arrived from Europe, Africa, and other distant cities across the United States.
The bride looked gorgeous in her custom made ensemble while the groom was all debonair in his princely attire. The wedding party held sway at the upscale Westin Hotel where a team of beauticians ensured that everyone looked the part.
The ceremony itself was a beehive of customs which the couple gleefully participated in. A live band and DJ ensured the atmosphere remained electrified while guests enjoyed an assortment of afro continental cuisine and beverages.
