DALLAS – Juliet Ibrahim, one of Ghana’s leading actresses and star of hit movies such as Reloaded and Foreplay was in Dallas Texas to meet and greet her fans and admirers. The Meridian Gardens Arlington, venue of the event was a beehive of activities just as guests took time out to participate in discussions and photo ops with the actress.
While at the Meridian Gardens, Juliet Ibrahim took time to savor the available continental cuisine including lamb chops, grilled fish and African salad. She spotted a body hugging Ankara outfit thereby depicting the African culture during the visit. Later that night, she revealed her prolific dance steps on the floors of the ultra-modern discotheque at the Meridian Gardens.
Juliet Ibrahim was born to a Lebanese father and a Liberian mother in Accra, Ghana. She began her career as a model in 2004. She started primary and secondary education from Ivory Coast and Lebanon and later moved to Ghana for her tertiary studies at the Ghana Institute of Languages (GIL), where she subsequently won the Miss GIL pageantry.
Juliet who has two young sisters and a brother made her official big screen début in 2005. While at school, she went on to model for Dolfins and Face-One Modeling Agency respectively. She, however, stumbled into Ghana’s movie industry in 2006 after she was called to play a role in Crime to Christ after her first TV series. Just last year, she said goodbye to modeling. Within a spate of three years, she has a lot of movies to her credit.
Among them are; In The Eyes Of My Husband, Blood Fight, Lost Desire, Dead End and Hidden Fantasy. Her Nigerian productions include; Loosing You, Yankee Boys, Midnight Call, Royal Storm, Honour My Will, Fake Death, Cash Adventure among others.
In an exclusive chat with Trendy Africa, Juliet Ibrahim revealed that her role as a lesbian in the upcoming movie; “Hidden Fantasy” promises to be more controversial than that in “foreplay”. In addition to acting, Juliet is an intelligent and savvy business woman who owns and runs her own Beauty Parlor . She studied Marketing and Advertising at the University Of Ghana-Legon.
