Conservative activist and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk is dead after he was shot at an event at Utah Valley University. He was 31 years old.
Kirk was speaking at a debate hosted by his nonprofit political organization. Immediately before the shooting, Kirk was taking questions from an audience member about mass shootings and gun violence.
He is survived by his wife and two young children.
