I took the 2024 Mercedes Benz C43 AMG out for a spin and boy, was I impressed. The 2024 Mercedes-AMG C 43 is a high-performance, all-wheel-drive, four wheel steering, luxury sedan powered by a 402-hp, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a 48-volt hybrid system and an electrified turbocharger.
It features a 48-volt mild-hybrid system with a belt-driven starter generator (BSG) providing an additional 13 hp boost and supports functions like gliding and recuperation. An electric motor helps spin up the turbocharger, significantly reducing turbo lag for faster response.
Other perks includes standard wireless charging, a premium sound system, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto integration. A rear-wheel-steering system enhances the car’s agility and handling in both high-speed and low-speed maneuvers.
