Teenager earns $3M from Roblox game sale

Roblox, the online gaming platform, is on track to hit 100 million daily users — and in the process, it’s turning teenage game developers into millionaires, Bloomberg reports. The 19-year-old creator of “Blue Lock: Rivals” recently sold the popular anime-style soccer game for $3 million to Do Big Studios, an owner of other Roblox titles.

One analyst cites a “shift in Roblox’s ecosystem,” noting that seven of the platform’s 15 top-grossing games in June had been acquired from their original creators.
