Xscape, Yolanda Adams and Freddie Jackson receive Icon Awards

At the 2019 Black Music Honors, which was taped at The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Xscape received the Urban Music Icon Award for the platinum selling quartet group’s 25 years in the industry; Yolanda Adams received the Gospel Music Icon Award and Arrested Development, Tamia and Freddie Jackson also received awards.

With performances by Jagged Edge, Naughty By Nature, Keke Wyatt, Kelly Price, Melanie Fiona, 702 and Major, television and radio personality Rickey Smiley and actress LeToya Luckett returned as the show’s co-hosts.

The show will air Sunday, October 20th at noon (EST) on Bounce TV, and in national broadcast syndication October 20.
