U.S Bilateral African Chamber of Commerce Hosts Inaugural meeting

Houston, TX – International business Men and Women gathered at the Aloft Hotel Lounge in Houston on the 15^th of March 2011for a meet and greet session of the newly formed U.S Bilateral African Chamber of Commerce (USBACC).

USBACC is a nonprofit organization that focuses on increasing bilateral trade and investment activities between Africa and the United States. The U.S. Bilateral African Chamber of Commerce aims to work closely with government, companies and other organizations to support and empower Africans and minority-led businesses.

The Executive Director; Nneka S. Achapu explained that the organization encourages all types of investments in Africa, while trying to promote a positive image of Africa and Africans in the United States and abroad. The USBACC will at the local level, effectively represent the interests of a rapid growing number of Africans residing in the Greater Houston Area.
