Dallas – Who says there is no gain in meticulous planning? well, for those who attended the grand Nikah ceremony between Olusunbo Shefiat Ashimi and Taofeek Owolabi Ademola, the result was obvious. The Hilton Anatole Dallas could not have been a better venue for the very grand wedding ceremony which was characterized by two full scale receptions rarely experienced by many.
The Ashimi and Ademola families were very well represented just as hundreds of guests enjoyed first class hospitality which was provided throughout the event that ran for about 13 hours. The virtues of Sunbola and Owolabi were extolled during the toast session and the summary being that they are a perfect match. Height, disposition, complexion and being bald all served as criteria of choice.
Emotions, excitement, munching, dancing, laughter, religion and fashion all fused together to ensure that the event was remarkable and memorable. (…and he has planted love and mercy between you; in that are signs for those who reflect – Quran 30:21)
