The storyline of the movie centers around a retiring young and highly successful actress Lala Gam-Hammond (Juliet Ibrahim) whose pregnancy and retirement announcement at a surprise birthday thrown for her by her husband and colleagues set off an unfortunate incident which led Police detective Kwesi Trapp (Ay the Comedian) bring in everyone he feels would gain a lot from the misfortune in for a series of questioning. This moment of suspense kept the audience on edge as to who the culprit might be. As it wasn’t certain if it would be her husband (Yemi Blaq) or her Artist Manager (KC Ejelonu) or her neigbour Wendy James (Sonia Ibrahim) who also doubles as her stalker. The movie’s fascination returns at the stirring climax which got a rousing ovation from the audience when the plot neatly twists and ‘The Number One Fan’ is revealed.

The movie which was shot in a very beautiful location is a different kettle of fish from what we usually see, it had a great casting with Sonia Ibrahim who is practically a green horn doing justice to her role. The director Moses ‘Sneeze’ Inwang has kept his reputation so firmly intact with this work of art.

The second showing of the movie went into full swing with the host Bassey entertaining the audience with his dance steps and a repeat of the raffle draw sessions also held in the first showing where lucky members of the audience went home with clothing items courtesy House of Glamour, Onpoint Clothing and Cintron, while Telecom Channel gave out Angrybirds Mp3 players.

Ghanaian dancehall star Jupiter was at hand to dish out melodious songs to the audience, he suprised everyone, even Juliet herself when he called her up on stage to perform to her first single ‘Celebrate’ which he featured in. Despite the fact that she wasn’t prepared and that it was her first time on stage performing her song, she did a good job singing and swaying to the beat and earning herself a thunderous ovation.

At the end of the second showing, the stars had photo sessions with their fans and the premiere cake was cut. The party train later moved on to Confidence Haugen’s Aphrodisiac Nite Club where there was serious partying and networking till the wee hours of the next day.
