Actress Ini Edo-Ehiagwina co-produced and starred in the movie as well as fellow actors Majid Michel, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Adesuwa Etomi to mention a few. The movie was directed by Desmond Elliot while Achievas Entertainment served as executive producers.

After much anticipation and preparation the Lagos premiere of the block buster movie ‘Apaye; A Mother’s Love’ held with fanfare! The event which was star-studded, saw several celebrities from Nollywood gracing the red carpet such as Clarion Chukwurah, Kanayo O Kanayo, Belinda Effah, who were cast in the film as well as Frank Edoho, Bobby Michaels, Teco Benson, Daniel K Daniel, Uduak Oguamanam, Emem Isong Desmond Elliot, Majid Michel, Juliet Ibrahim etc.

Royal Arts Academy presents, ‘Apaye; A Mother’s Love’; a moving, story of one woman’s quest to succeed against the odds. Inspired by true events, ‘Apaye’ is the story of Elder Irene Yepayeye Uriah, born in the creeks of what is now Bayelsa State, abandoned by her husband and left to fend for her six children. She struggled and toiled to provide for her family and to make sure they enjoyed a life that she never had. Against the odds, she became a woman of substance in a community that never believed any good could come from her.

The movie stars Clarion Chukwurah in an unforgettable performance as the lead character. The film was produced by Emem Isong, directed by Desmond Elliot and Executive produced by Mangrovetech Limited. The film will be premiered on the 7th of March in Silverbird Cinemas, Victoria Island, Lagos by 5pm prompt. It will be showing in all cinemas nationwide also from that day.  It is not to be missed.

The stars of the movie “The Brat” stepped out in a long, white luxurious limousine driven by a chauffeur. As the stars entered into Funplex cinema, they were smiles been shared amongst every one present. The men were looking Dapper and the women ever so elegant. After the guests and stars posed for the lenses of Trendy Africa, they proceeded into the cinema to watch the Movie “The Brat”.

“The Brat” premiered in Houston, Texas was about a spoiled brat (played by Dtymi Ngozi-Ibe) who denied all persons that were unpleasant to her. She thought the world evolved around what she viewed as perfect.
