Jaguar Land Rover customers thrilled at Lagos Ride and Drive Event

Coscharis Motors, sole owners of the Jaguar Landrover (JLR) franchise in Nigeria in partnership with MTN Nigeria, Stanbic IBTC bank and Access Bank created a truly experiential platform for their customers via a Ride and Drive event held in Lagos on the 17th of October, 2015.  The event offered their existing and potential Jaguar Landrover customers a unique driving experience on the untapped capabilities and luxury features of the JLR brands.

According to the General Manager, Marketing & Corporate Services, Coscharis Motors, Abiona Babarinde, some of the owners of the JLR variants are underutilizing these vehicles given what they actually offer in terms of on-road and off-road capabilities and luxuries. He added that, “The lack of expert knowledge in handling these vehicles sometimes results in mechanical and electrical challenges.”

Consequently, Coscharis Motors invited the Land Rover Experience instructors from South Africa and UK who facilitated the Ride and Drive event in Nigeria.

Ride and Drive Offers True Vehicle Experience

Speaking on the partnership, General Manager, Consumer Marketing, Richard Iweanoge, said, “MTN is delighted to partner with Coscharis Motors to provide this automobile experiential platform for our customers. This is in line with our commitment to be an enabler to our customers in the fulfilment of their aspirations in life.”

There was also an exhibition of all the latest JLR models within the Coscharis dealership at the event. Existing and prospective customers who made purchases or financial commitment were given reasonable discounts on most of the vehicles.

Stanbic IBTC bank and Access Bank were on site to demonstrate and facilitate the finance options available for interested clients. According to the banks’ representatives, the objective of partnering with Coscharis Motors was to create a platform where buyers don’t have to commit their limited funds to purchasing these vehicles but rather spread the payment through instalments.

This activation is a second in a series of Ride and Drive events organized bu Coscharis and Jaguar Landrover in Nigeria.
