Her Imperial Majesty the Queen of Ile-Ife, Olori Wuraola Ogunwusi (Yeyelua of Ile-Ife) was special guest at the ‘Women Emerge Summit’ organized in her honor at the prestigious Gaylord Hotel and Resort in Maryland. The summit which attracted Professional, Political and business Women was part of the activities planned during the official visit of His Imperial Majesty, Dr. Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, Ooni of Ife and his large delegation to the USA. The summit which was initiated by the Queen aims to foster and develop relationships among professional and diverse Women while creating an enabling environment for business opportunities in Ile-Ife. During the Royal speech, the Queen enjoined Women to focus on their primary role and develop themselves in their chosen professions. The Queen also motivated the attendees by demystifying the issues of gender equality. She was later presented with various awards by different groups. His Imperial Majesty’s contingent is devoid of any Nigerian Politician.
