Fashion meets Culture at Dallas Design Showcase 2015

The City of Dallas and Trendy Africa Magazine will host the 2015 Dallas International Fashion Week. This year’s edition promises to be thrilling and entertaining with a lineup of international designers representing various countries in Africa and other parts of the world. The City of Dallas will officially host visiting dignitaries and designers and entertain them to a theatrical performance as part of events during the fashion week.

DIF serves as a platform for promoting multicultural internationality within and around Dallas while working towards establishing favorable relations and cultural ties between Dallas residents and foreign Nationals via showcase of fashion, culture and traditions. Mrs Dayo Keshi; Director-General, Nigerian Council for Arts and Culture is among high profile guests expected at the event. Top official at the City of Dallas are also expected to participate.

The City of Dallas Africa Liaison officer Regina Hill Onyeibe reiterates the cities readiness to host the world adding that Designers, Models and other fashion enthusiasts would benefit immensely by participating. “Creating a platform for cultures to create awareness for their products and attracting foreign investment to the City of Dallas forms a major part of the mission at DIF”.

Branding consideration has been provided by; DaViva, Arik Air, Fadan, Axxess, Vomoz among other corporate brands.

EVENT DETAILS:                     

May 15th: Reception at City Hall, Dallas. 12 noon

May 16th: Theater performance, Dallas 4 pm

May 17th: Runway. 5pm
