NEW YORK – Van Vicker, one of Africa’s leading Nollywood entertainers was in New York to support the relief efforts in Haiti at the “Africa For Haiti” relief fund event. The event which was organized by 5 continents annual academy awards and black star entertainment attracted a large group of the Haitian community in New York despite the torrential rainfall.
Van Vicker who the organizers largely referred to as Mr. Irresistible and “the best Actor of Africa” actually played a huge role towards the success of the event. In an earlier interview, the star actor maintained that it was important for Africans to collectively rise to the needs of their brothers and sisters in Haiti. He explained that support is not just about donating large sums of money but its about showing care and love to those in need.
