New York – The Nigerian Nurses Association USA hosted its 10th year anniversary with a banquet, fundraiser and award ceremony at the palatial Elite palace in New York. Honorees at the special anniversary event include; Dr. Okoro Ukpabi, MD.OB/GYN (Community Involvement Award), Mr. Amadou Diagne (Community Educator award), Late Rev.Dr. Abraham Adegoke Oyedeji-CAC (Outstanding Leadership Award) and Ms. Michelle Williams, Senior VP-Patients Care Services, NYHQ (Nursing Leadership Award).

Corporate awardees include; Arik Air (Community Service Award), Western Union (Community Service Award) and the Organization for the Advancement of Nigeria-OAN (Community Service Award). Ten NNAUSA founding members were also honored at the event. They are; Dr. Grace Ogiehor -Enoma, Taiwo Adeniji, Julie Van-Lare, Stella Fadugba, Judith N Nwachukwu, Susan Okiro, Bukky Keshinro-Owoyele, Tonye Opusunji-Bello, Ruth Obaseki and Helen Iwu.
