The Newly Formed West Africa Texas Chamber (WATCH) recently hosted its Inaugural Event in Dallas with Samia Nkrumah, daughter of the 1st President of Ghana, President Kwame Nkrumah as keynote speaker.

Ms. Nkrumah’s visit to Dallas was historic as none of the Nkrumah family has spoken publically in the United States since the death of President Nkrumah in 1972.
The event which held at the West Africa Texas Chamber Conference Hall in North Dallas attracted an ethnically diverse audience just as members of the National Black United Front (NBUF) came all out to support Ms. Nkrumah.
