The Golden Jubilee celebration in honor of Dr. (Mrs) Emiola Asemota-Agabalogun had all the trappings of class and style as it was set on the 15-deck super cruise liner; Royal Caribbean Independence of the Seas . The August 16-23, 2015 celebration was definitely a full week of fun. The ship set sail from Fort Lauderdale Florida through San Juan Puerto Rico, St Martin and St Kitts on the Eastern Caribbean Island.
Guests had their initial taste of fun in San Juan Puerto Rico at the Sheraton Hotel and Casino in Old San Juan on Tuesday August 18, 2015. This was followed by a Black and white disco party on the cruise ship on Friday August 21.2015. Guests also had the opportunity to showcase their rich African culture during the Ankara day of the special cruise which held on Saturday August 22, 2015. In a unique twist, a special Blue T-shirt brunch was hosted in honor of the celebrant in the Wind Jammer Restaurant on the ship on August 17, 2015.
The Party was well attended with guest’s including family and friends who arrived from United Kingdom, Nigeria, Canada and cities including California, New Jersey, New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Indianapolis, and Wisconsin.
The amiable celebrant was blessed to have her parents; Mr. John and Mrs Florence Asemota at the cruise. Her husband Aziz Agabalogun and her 3 children; Tope, Lola and Femi Agabalogun also assisted in ensuring that invited guests were adequately entertained.
