Dallas Black Dance Theatre Founder Ann Williams worked for more than 20 years to gain the rights to Sinatra Suite™. Mikahail Baryshnikov, former Artistic Director of the American Ballet Theatre, commissioned Twyla Tharp© to create the work in 1983. “We are so honored to have received the rights to perform this magnificent work and add it to our repertoire,” said Ann Williams. The dance is set to a compilation of Frank Sinatra songs.
