The City of Dallas, office of International Business & Protocol Services In collaboration with the Zimbabwe Business Network International hosted a round table with the theme; “Doing Business with Zimbabwe”. The event which held in the flag room at City Hall featured a series of presentations on the “New Zimbabwe” with a focus on investment opportunities.
Regina Hill Onyeibe, Africa Liaison, City of Dallas welcomed all the delegates from Zimbabwe and other notable guests including Councilman Dwaine Caraway, Councilwoman Carolyn R. Davis, NFL Alumni Larry M. Mallory and International Trade Specialist Kenneth Haynes to name a few.
Mr. Kumbirayi C. Katsande, the current President of the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries, Mr. Richard Mubaiwa, CEO of the Zimbabwe Investment Authority and Dr. Washington Mbizvo, permanent Secretary for the Ministry of higher and tertiary education in Zimbabwe all exposed the growing and great potentials in the “New Zimbabwe” with great focus on Infrastructural development, Mining and Tourism. Highlight of the event was the official presentation of the Zimbabwean National flag to the City of Dallas.
