Paul and Peter Okoye-Psquare, Kate Henshaw, Jim Iyke and other notable celebrities joined the Governor of Cross River State, Liyel Imoke at the 2014 edition of the Calabar Carnival which took place on December 26 and 27, 2014. The carnival is a display of the African heritage showcased through music, dance, drama and visual creativity which is reflected in the design of floats, costumes and make-up. The Calabar Carnival is believed to be the largest cultural Festival in Africa with 50,000 Costumed revelers, 2million spectators and an audience of over 50million television viewers according to organizers.
