Celebrations are exhibited in various formats but for those who attended the grand opening of Arise and Shine International ministries in Texas, the ambiance was surely glorious with lots of praise and thanksgiving to the Almighty God who made the vision possible.
Located in Texas, in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex area at 1001 Airport Freeway, Bedford Texas, United States. ASIM ultra modern church building is characterized by ultra worship friendly attributes including a welcome center, worship halls, modern private conveniences and a kitchen that ensure comfort for a fulfilled time in the house of God.
Arise and Shine church building
Dignitaries from far and wide were in attendance including city officials the Mayor of Bedford, Jim Story and Mayor of Euless, Mary Lib Saleh who joined host Pastors Nosa and Ade Onaiwu to celebrate the new church building. Other notable guests who arrived for the grand occasion include Apostle Yemi Adefarasin from Abuja-Nigeria, Pastor Duke Imajemite (London), Pastor Dele Salewon of the Redeem Christian Church of God- Oklahoma City, Pastor (Dr.) Dave Duell- Colorado Springs, Dr. Judy Morris (Dallas Baptist University) and Pastor Niyi Adams from Maryland. Other guests that arrived from distant Cities worldwide were also acknowledged during the ceremony.
Pastor Nosa and Ade Onaiwu
Just after host Pastor Nosa Onaiwu performed the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon to the admiration of well-wishers, the congregation excitedly made their way into the sanctuary and Pastor Dave Duell led the opening prayer. The host Pastor shared the vision of the church, “winning lost souls, training and empowering them with the infallible word of God to succeed in their God given dreams and to prepare them to make heaven”. In pursuit of our God given mission, we acquired this church building in the City of Bedford to serve the people and the community around us. Pastor Steve Solomon of Riverwalk Fellowship delivered an outstanding sermon that made the service a day to remember for many believers.
Amongst the highlights of the event included a well choreographed dance performance by ASIM Daughters of Destiny and an awesome saxophone solo performed by Blessedness Onaiwu – a pure talent. Also, his Mentor Pastor Niyi Adams brought the house standing with endless ovation. Hospitality was at its peak with the provision of a special tent that housed great cuisine and refreshments for visitors while commemorative gifts were distributed by appointed ushers.
The guests were ushered round the building and shown specialized units such as the children center, bookshop, counseling rooms, youth classrooms, Baptistery, administrative office and the dual level foyer. The church sanctuary spots an international feel especially with the presence of flags of nations. The building has been designed to provide all visitors with an ambience that is both inspiring and uplifting.
