All about Super Bowl 51

Tom Brady of the New England Patriots became the first quarterback in N.F.L. history to win five Super Bowls, leading his team to a 34-28 overtime victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI. It looked like a blowout in Atlanta’s favor, with the Falcons racing to a 28-3 lead, but Brady, who had endured a great deal of pressure for much of the game, held tight and reeled off 25 consecutive points before the overtime period, getting a great deal of help from a circus catch by Julian Edelman that will help erase the Patriots’ painful memory of being sunk by David Tyree’s helmet catch in Super Bowl XLII.

After forcing the first overtime in Super Bowl history, the Patriots got the ball first and, as they have done so many times in Brady’s career, marched down the field, going 75 yards on eight plays, winning on James White’s 2-yard touchdown run. “We all brought each other back,” said Brady, who was named Super Bowl M.V.P. for a record fourth time. “We never felt out of it.”

The 2017 edition of America’s biggest sporting event;  Super Bowl LI (51), pitches its tent in Houston Texas with over 1 million fans of the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons converging on the Oil city. Multi-Award winning performing artist Lady Gaga will be headlining the highly rated halftime show. The NRG stadium located in the heart of the city is already a beehive of activities.

The weekend fun in Houston kicked off on Friday night with the LIFEWTR party. Just so you know, that’s not a typo; Pepsi is using this party to unveil a new premium bottled water, and that just happens to be the name of the product. Since this is the Super Bowl, Pepsi will be unveiling the product with splash: They’re having Bruno Mars headline the party.

The Maxim Party is one of the hottest events of the weekend, and it’s even hotter this year because it’s the 10th anniversary of the party. If you can score an invite, which won’t be easy, you’ll be treated to night that includes performances from Travis Scott, Joe Jonas, DNCE and DJ Khaled. The only way you’re getting into this party is if you have an invitation code, so you should probably start working on that now.

Taylor Swift will headline the hottest ticket of the weekend, and that’s mainly because there are no tickets, which makes them impossible to get. At this point, the only way to score an invite to this party is to know someone who works for AT&T/DIRECTV, so if your uncle is high up in the management chain at one of the two companies, you might want to give him a call.
