In recognition of Autism Awareness month, Genesis Autism resource center and the Arc of Northeast Tarrant County hosted an event themed; “Stand up to Bullying”. The educational and inspiring session held at the RCCG Eagles assembly in Irving Texas. President of Genesis Autism resource Justina Benstowe introduced the event and thanked all the volunteers and attendees for their participation.
Speakers at the event included; Dr. Manita Fadele, Wife of the Chairman of RCCG in North America, City of Irving Mayor Pro Tem Gerald Farris and Irving Police Officer Gary Brockett who spoke on Effects and types of bullying. Noted Author and HEB ISD Diagnostician Lynn Parsons also spoke on “Perceived and Cyber Bullying”.
